About us
The Party Kit Network is passionate about helping to make parties more sustainable.
We aim to prevent tonnes of plastic and paper partyware entering the environment by supplying party organisers with an alternative, while raising awareness that reusables can be easier, cheaper and a lot more fun.
Each of of the party kits are run independently by individuals from home, small businesses, school PTAs and community groups for the benefit of their local communities.
The network is a non-profit Community Interest Company which means that any money raised is reinvested in helping us achieve our social purpose. We do not charge members a fee or take commission from any hire fees. We are funded via donations and the income from Party Kit Winchester (UK).
We aim to connect party planners with their local kit of reusable tableware. We support the growing community of people who run party kits.
Founded in 2019 in the UK, the network launched in Australia in 2020. In 2021 we opened up membership to the rest of the world and have members in Ireland, New Zealand, Canada and the USA.
We have been featured by ABC Everyday, The Guardian, The Sunday Times Magazine, 1 Million Women, ekko.world, Re:think magazine, Juno magazine, Eco Action Families and many more.
